Paws Gone Pretty offers a variety of services tailored to the unique needs of you, your pet and your budget. From a basic bath and nail trim to a full body haircut and fluff, your furry friends are our #1 priority!
In home grooming offers a safe one on one, cage free environment with no loud barking or other noises that can distract or scare your pet. It’s perfect for pets that are a bit skittish or have had a bad grooming experience.
For our "House Call” service, just provide a place for us to set up, a place to bathe your pet and access to electricity. I will provide the rest.

Hi! I'm Leah Steinhebel
It's nice to meet you! Let me tell you a little about myself.
I've been passionate about animals all my life which led me into the field of pet grooming. I graduated from grooming school in 2010 but since then, I have kept up with the latest trends by attending numerous seminars. I am proficient in a wide variety of breed standard clips ranging from clipper and scissor work to hand stripping.
Along with keeping up with the latest grooming trends and techniques, I have spent a lot of time studying dog and cat skin issues. In my practice, I see many pets with skin problems. I'm not a vet tech but as a groomer, it's my job to know about skin and coat care.
My gentle, natural products provide relief for many common skin problems, such as dry itchy skin. When I discover an issue, I'll discuss it with the owner and make recommendations which may prevent a costly trip to the vet.
Aside from helping pets feel and look amazing, I educate and advise owners how to help their pets work though fears and mild aggression during the grooming process.

I talk to the animals in soothing tones throughout the grooming process, helping them relax. It's rewarding when a pet realizes that grooming doesn't have to be a scary experience. I particularly enjoy working with puppies and kittens teaching them that grooming is something to enjoy!​​

Crowd Funding
After 15 years of grooming in salons, my home and making house calls, I am finally ready to take a leap and start my own mobile business. Throughout my career I have focused on the well-being of the animals, and I know that a mobile environment is often the best, least stressful way for them to be pampered.

My biggest hurdle is the cost of a safe, reliable grooming van. While I have the shears, the skills, and the passion, the 'wheels' are a major expense. I am asking for donations to help me turn my years of experience into a business that can serve pets right at their front door.

The Plan:
My goal is to lease and eventually buy a mobile grooming van from Wag'n Tails. I hope to raise $19,005 which should cover the down payment plus 3 monthly lease payments.
