Arriving and ready for a spaw day!

Here we are, officially rolling into fall! The air is getting a little crisper, the leaves are starting to turn, and the cozy season is just around the corner. As Shiloh and I drive between appointments, taking in the beautiful changing scenery across Portland, Beaverton, and Oregon City, I’ve been doing a lot of reflecting on our journey so far.

Operating Paws Gone Pretty as a two-person, house-call grooming team is such a unique and rewarding experience. We aren't just a service you drop your pet off at; we are guests invited into your home. That is a level of trust we never take for granted.

One of the absolute greatest joys of our day is seeing your dogs and cats in their natural habitats. We get to see where they sleep, watch them greet us at the door (or peek at us from behind the couch!), and set up our equipment right where they feel the safest. There is something truly magical about grooming in their natural habitats, comfortable in their own living room, surrounded by their own familiar scents.

A gentle bath right in the comfort of their own tub!

Over the last few months, we have loved becoming a familiar part of your household routine. When we arrive, many of your furry family members already know the drill! They know that Shiloh is there to offer extra hands for comfort and support, and they know we are there to help them feel clean, fresh, and happy. Building these deep, personal connections with your pets—and with you—is exactly why we built this business.

As we continue building our route density in areas like Beaverton and Oregon City, every new home we visit reminds us why we love this model so much. Whether we are hand-stripping a wiry-coated terrier or simply giving a gentle bath and blowout, doing it on your turf is an honor.

Thank you for opening your doors to us and letting us be a small part of your family’s routine. We can't wait to see you at your next spaw day! Click Services to see what we offer, then click on "Request Appointment" to view our pricing and availability.
