VIP (Very Important Pet) Care: Benefits of House Call Grooming

I sometimes wonder why pet parents choose me over a groomer with a fully set-up grooming salon or a mobile grooming van; I have neither. Then I think about what I do have. It's not necessarily about having a full set-up, rather it's about making those connections and first impressions. Building a relationship with the owner and their pets naturally comes after. Meeting the needs of both the pet and pet parent's is next, using skill and precision with scissors, clipper work, and bathing skills.

When I knock on your door to set-up for our appointment, I do so with confidence and respect for you, your pet, and your home. I am a guest and you are trusting me with the care of your pet when you allow me into your home (and I greatly appreciate it!). It's been shared with me the reason why they chose me for grooming their pet. They say it's because, after talking to me via text or call, I sound caring and kind with a sense of trust, and they are excited for me to show them my skills. Honestly, I jump for joy every time a new pet parent chooses me to be their baby's groomer. The excitement to work with their pets and see my business grow brings so much joy and light, I wake up every morning thinking, "How can I reach more pet parents?"

My goal - ultimately - is obtaining a mobile grooming van, eventually. For now, the benefits of allowing me to groom in your home is more than enough for me. The best part as a pet parent having me come to you for the groom is your pet stays in the home or backyard (wherever is most comfortable for you and your pet). Your baby has the opportunity to stay as comfortable as possible while doing something they may not like. My favorite part is how relaxed and great they feel after the grooming process, and I think to myself with pride, "I did that". The pet parents usually enjoy the experience and notice how much happier and relaxed their pet is after the service, including pets with grooming anxiety.

Not much is needed on your part to provide for me. I only ask you allow me the use of your tub/sink/walk-in shower, water, electricity, and a small space to set up my equipment. Here is what I provide:

• Luxury all-natural shampoo and conditioner

• Grooming equipment (clippers, scissors etc.)

• High velocity dryer & towels

• Small grooming table for pets up to 35lbs., and larger are groomed on the ground/floor

• Mini shop-vac (for cleaning after the groom)

I clean up the mess I make (to the best of my ability) so you need not worry about cleaning up after I leave.
